Meet Our Founder

Introducing our Founder and CEO, Lyndsey Fitheridge.

Lyndsey embarked on her HR journey in 2004, earning her HR degree from The University of Central Lancashire. Initially working in HR for an insurance company, she later specialised in recruitment, contributing her skills to two of the UK’s largest recruitment firms in Lancaster and Preston. Following almost a decade in corporate recruitment, Lyndsey returned to Cumbria, taking on the role of Commercial Director and Board Member at an SME recruitment and training company.

In Jan 2024 she launched Foxgroves Recruitment to support businesses across Cumbria, Dumfriesshire and the North East with HR and Business Support Recruitment. Lyndsey's interest in digital marketing is underscored by her Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Institute of Digital Marketing which has led her to adopt innovative candidate and client sourcing strategies leading to her scooping the Award for “Best Recruitment Agency for the Cumbria Region” in the Business UK Awards 2025!

Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavours, Lyndsey is a devoted working mother of three young boys (Jack, Sam and Alfie), residing just over the Cumbrian border in Middleton-in-Teesdale just 10 miles from her home county of Cumbria. In her leisure time, she enjoys baking activities with her children, spa dates with the girls, a spot of water colour painting and strolling through the dales with her partner Leo.
